A group of civil society organizations say a five-year-old international agreement to protect the world's forest is failing. Instead of deforestation being halved by next year, the amount of tropical woodlands lost actually increased by 44%.

Scientists say the largest glacier in the Alps could disappear completely by the end of this century, if nothing is done to slow down the effects of climate change. The body of a man who went missing more than 20 years ago in the U.S has been found in a submerged car that's visible on Google Maps. William Moldt from Florida failed to return home from a night-out in 1997. A satellite image of his sunken car was spotted by a previous resident in the area after doing a Google search.
